"Even if a long period of time has passed since the events of September 11th, the media continue to make references to it on a daily basis, one way or the other reinforcing the citizens' sense of fear, putting forward conjectures of new terrorist acts and making them feel repulsion for cultural diversities that don't match those of the western world.

As the media spectacle continues its obsessive work, one wonders if artistic responses to the events may serve as the starting point for a constructive discourse that addresses the causes of terrorism."
